Campbellsville University (CU) has just entered into her second century of providing Christian higher education. We are excited about the “educational experience” that is taking place on our campus every day. While, Campbellsville, Kentucky is home to our main campus, we also have a Louisville Campus (that provides select offerings in a very nicely equipped center on the Southeast side of the city in Jeffersontown). You can also find us offering select courses in Elizabethtown, Jamestown and Somerset Kentucky. These can be found on our schedule of courses. Also, we have on-line courses in several areas of study. We offer our program in Special Education “on-line” as well as several other courses in this format.
Campbellsville University is helping students “find their calling” each and every day. We are proud of our strong academic standards, and we encourage you to visit our academic site to read about the university’s 43 undergraduate programs and 15 master’s programs including a new master of social work. We also have a new family studies major and a homeland security minor. We also have rank I and endorsement in gifted and talented education. We believe our faculty and staff are uniquely qualified to help you be successful in the fast paced world of the 21st century.
Campbellsville University’s commitment to student learning is based on four core values: to provide academic excellence and quality programs throughout the university; to offer an environment conducive for student success; to practice strong, effective stewardship; and to strive to be a caring, Christ-centered community of learners. We believe these values provide direction to our university so that our graduates can move beyond CU to become successful in graduate school, the world of work, and life in general.
Our dedicated faculty, staff and coaches practice these values daily. We work hard to prepare students to enrich their own lives through lifelong learning and Christian service. Our students go into the world as alumni who accomplish great things through Christian servant leadership. We offer countless opportunities for Christian service and growth whether it be through mission and service experiences all over the world.
Campbellsville University offers numerous activities beyond the classroom ranging from the arts to a variety of sporting events. These include: plays, intramural sports, Alpha Chi, ROTC, literary writing and chess club to Fellowship of Christian Athletes, public policy discussions, Baptist Campus Ministries, and others.
